KAWABU Brewery Visit Sake Breweries

KAWABU Brewery which established in 1857 is in the mountain village along the Kishu Highway between the Kushida River and Miyagawa River.
A long time ago, there was spring water that Kobo Daishi digged out, and we drank delicious underground water and carefully made liquor and also Miso and soy sauce.
There is a course of sake brewe watching tour, and you visit along the process of sake making.
A deck with a height of 130 cm is installed so you can see the tank closer,
and go up the 5 steps with the handrail, you can see the mash.
If you can not go up to the deck, they can put mash in another container and show them on your side.
