Toba Aquarium

“The breathtaking blue.”
Toba Aquarium is a mega aquarium, located nearby Mikimoto Pearl Island. It houses 30,000 sea creatures of 1,200 different species, and are divided into 12 zones of unique themes. Toba Aquarium is the only institution in Japan to house dugongs and other rare and endangered species. The glass panels are settled in lower position to make it easier to see for small children and visitors with wheelchairs in their own eye position. It also has an accessible entrance equipped with an elevator.
